Shelley WB, Shelley ED

On their trip to California in March 1993, E. Dorinda Shelley was officially inducted into the American Dermatological Association. Additionally, the Shelleys were honored to visit Ambassador and Mrs. Walter Annenberg at their home in Rancho Mirage. At their suggestion, the Shelleys visited the Annenberg Health Science Building at the Eisenhower Medical Center, which featues a unique medical art museum. The Shelleys also discussed their experience visiting the Tulane Dermatology Clinic in New Orleans where they met with Dr. Donald Greer who sees about a dozen cases of blastomycosis a year. They also shared a letter they received from a patient with adult acne attributed to nuts, particularly pecans, whose condition cleared after discontinuing ingestion of the nuts.
