A 43-year-old man with AIDS, a CD4+ lymphocyte count of 4 cells/mm3, and a medical history of multiple opportunistic infections presented with numerous disseminated skin lesions that became tender and inflamed 3 months after initiating antiretroviral therapy. The patient denied mucosal lesions.
