The Shelleys provide an interesting anecdote on biopsying: "We preach that taking a biopsy is like choosing a sample building to identify a city. A biopsy of a garage is no good. Look for a distinctive landscape feature. A 'biopsy' of the Empire State Building or the White House will tell you what city you are in." They also discuss the "epidermal trio."
