Cutis. 2000;66:382.
In the article entitled “A Newly Formulated Topical Triple-Antibiotic Ointment Minimizes Scarring,” by Berger RS, Pappert AS, Van Zile PS, and Cetnarowski WE, which appeared in the June 2000 issue of Cutis, the authors incorrectly described one of the categorical scoring scales used in the study. Under the subheading Measurements of Efficacy, the 4-point scale was originally described as “none, 1; mild, 2; moderate, 3; severe, 4.” The scale’s description should have read “Severity was graded on a 4-point scale (none, 0; mild, 1; moderate, 2; severe, 3).” We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
